Gotech MFI PRO v7 Engine Control Unit

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



The Gotech MFI Pro system is an Upmarket version of the standard MFI ECU. This unit has additional features allowing greater control over Engine management. The ecu contains many more components providing for the greatly enhanced functionality. This ECU offers outstanding value for money and is much more than just "Competitively Priced"

 

Gotech MFI PRO v7 Information and Features

Applications:

- 4 Cylinder wasted spark (60 -2, 36-1 or 24-1 Distributor pickup)
Two coil and two injector output

- 4 Cylinder wasted spark + MF (60 -2, 36-1 or 24-1 Distributor pickup)
Two coil and two injector output, One micro fueler output for extra set of staged injectors

- 4 Cylinder with distributor (Trigger per event or 60 -2)
Two injector and one coil output

- 6 Cylinder with distributor (Trigger per event or 60 -2)
Three injector and one coil output

- 6 Cylinder wasted spark (60 -2)
Three injector and three coil output

- 8 Cylinder with distributor (Trigger per event)
Two injector and one coil output

- 8 Cylinder two distributor (12-1 Lexus 1uz)
Two coil and two injector output. This setup is also available on a 60 -2 crank pickup. We recommend using 60 -2 if possible.



Two GPO outputs, one for fuel pump or shift light and one for VVT.
Tach output
Launch control (Launch RPM limiter, Launch timing retard, Launch time delay, Launch fuel add %)
Closed Loop lambda control (Narrow band)

 

Basic Kit Contents

The basic kit includes
- Gotech MFI PRO ecu
- Universal wiring harness
- Software package
- User manual

Dressed looms can be supplied on demand for vehicle specific applications.
Universal 60 -2 crank trigger pickups sold seperately.

Ignition Control Features

 

- Full Control over ignition timing at preset RPM intervals and 32 load sites
- Interpolation Between load sites for smooth timing transition
- Ignition control input provided by engine speed and manifold pressure (TPS also available)
- Soft touch RPM limiter is provided to prevent dangerously high RPM to be exceeded
- Ignition is fully programmable using serial link to Pc or laptop
- Windows based software
- Timing control up to 12000 rpm

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Fuel Injection Features



- Batch Firing of injectors in mode 0. Phased firing of injectors in mode 1 upwards. (Phased firing available for 2, 4 and 6 cylinder engines. Phased firing also available for twin rotor engines)
- Full control over electronic injectors over 32 load sites and preset RPM levels
- Interpolation Between load sites for smooth transition
- Able to drive 8x 2ohm injectors or 16x 16 ohm injectors
- Fuel injector time mapped at 500rpm from startup to 12 000rpm on a 4 cylinder engine
- Injector time is fully programmable using the windows based Gotech software

- Manifold air pressure (Built in 1,5 bar manifold pressure sensor, optional 3,0 bar map sensor available)

- Engine Speed, crank trigger pickups 60 -2, 36 -1, 12-1. Distributor pickups trigger per event and 24-1. (Pre order ecu for your specific application).

- Real time fuel adjustment using the fuel pot. Fuel adjustable by 10% richer and leaner over the - whole range while driving.
- Two GPO outputs for fuel pump activation, VVT, shift light etc.

Software Features

 

- Windows based. Can be used with Windows '98 , ME and XP
- User friendly interface with easy to navigate screens
- Dash panel for engine monitoring whilst online.
- Files can be downloaded an retrieved on hard drive
- Files can be uploaded to the MFI PRO and saved to the hard drive.
- Maps can be rapidly changed using the curve function or the all ranges up.
- Input screens include: Fuel, Ignition, F5 Configuration, Air temp correction, Water temp correction, Battery voltage correction and the micro staged fuel map.
